Get a high-level overview of your StringsOS dashboard and active localization projects. This acts as your central command center to monitor translation progress, pending reviews, and recent activity.

The Basics
Sign up securely using your email or OAuth. You will immediately enter the onboarding flow.
Provide your intent and workspace details. Workspaces can be for personal use or for your entire organization.
Define your first localization boundary. Give your project a name and set the source language.
Select which languages you want to localize into. You can always add or remove target languages later.
The workspace is the highest level of organization in StringsOS. It contains your projects and localization settings. A project represents a specific product or application and its associated keys and languages.
Setup
After signing up, the first step is to establish your workspace. A workspace is typically named after your company or organization. It acts as the billing and access control boundary for all of your localization projects. All members you invite will have access to the projects within this workspace according to their assigned roles.
Organization
Inside your workspace, you can create one or more projects. A project usually maps 1:1 with an application, website, or codebase. When creating a project, you will define the Source Language (the language your developers write in, typically English) and provide a recognizable name. Projects maintain their own isolated translation memories and AI settings.
Localization
With your project created, you can now add target languages. StringsOS supports over 100+ locales, including regional variants (like fr-CA vs fr-FR). When you add a language, StringsOS automatically prepares the translation editor and sets up the necessary AI contexts for that specific locale, ensuring that nuances and pluralization rules are correctly handled.
Once your project is created, the next step is to import your existing keys or connect your GitHub repository to start localizing.
